The Group Rate covers all guest sleeping room costs, including standard resort fees, but is exclusive of applicable sales/room tax, currently ten percent (10 %). Rate is inclusive of bell and housekeeping gratuities. The rate also includes in-suite high-speed Internet access, on-property transportation and access to the full-service Seascape Sports Club.
Reservation Procedure
Reservation can only be made via hotel reservation website (https://gc.synxis.com/rez.aspx?Hotel=15891&Chain=6158&group=IEEE VTS10) or by fax using the Fax-in Reservation Form.
Meeting attendees will reference group code IEEE VTS10 when making reservations.
The reservation cut-off date is 27 March 2010 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific time. Reservations received after this date will be accepted by the Hotel on a space available basis at the conference rates. Modifications made to existing reservations after this date will be treated as advance reservations.
Please note that the hotel will continue to honor the conference rate for the 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom villas until they run out

Advance Deposit Requirements
The Hotel may require a deposit in advance from individual guests to guarantee a particular reservation. To guarantee an individual reservation, a guest must either (1) send a check or money order covering the first night’s room rate plus applicable sales tax, (2) send a signed letter or form authorizing the Hotel to charge the room deposit and applicable sales tax to the guest’s credit card or (3) give the guest’s credit card information through the secure website. Guaranteed reservations are held until at least 6:00 a.m. the following morning, at which time the reservation and deposit are forfeited. Should guest cancel a reservation, the Hotel shall refund deposits if notice is received 48 hours prior to 4:00 p.m. on the arrival date. The Hotel shall allow name changes without any penalty. All guaranteed reservations will receive written confirmation from the Hotel.
Ten special discounted 2-bedroom villas
VTS2010 has negotiated special discounted rate ($275+10%tax= $302.50) for TEN 2-bedroom villas. These 2-bedroom villas can accommodate 2-4 persons. These rooms are intended for students and people who can double up and share the cost.
VTS attendees who are interested in sharing accommodation in a 2-bedroom Villa with others, please email your information to Chen-Huan Chiang
Note that the 2-bed room villa has two rooms with independent bathroom, so it is more like a 2-bed room condo. The two rooms are on the two end of the apartment (not next to each other). Both of them have lot of privacy.

From the Bay Area, go south to Highway 880, which becomes Highway 17 south.
Take Highway 1 south exit (Watsonvill/Monterey) from Highway 17 and continue 9 miles south to the "San Andreas/Larkin Valley Road" exit.
Follow San Andreas west to Seascape Blvd. (flashing stop sign).
Follow Seascape Blvd. to end, cross Sumner Blvd. to Seascape Resort Drive.
Seascape Resort is across Sumner and on your left.
